Bach), Ismene (Orpheus, Telemann), Amour (Orpheus and Eurydice, Gluck), Urgande (Amadis, Lully), Adele (Die Fledermaus, J. Strauss) to name a few.
At the Glyndebourne Festival In 2013, she was the cover of Aricie, in the production of Rameau’s Hippolyte et Aricie}(Jonathan Kent/William Christie new production).
She has performed with conductors such as Stephane Denève, Christophe Rousset, Jean-Christophe Spinosi, Gérard Korsten, Giuseppe Grazzioli, Emmanuelle Haim, William Christie, Kazuki Yamada, Alexis Kossenko, Paul Agnew.
She trained with Alain Buet, Leontina Vaduva, Jean Louis Dumoulin and Buddug Verona-James. She has participated in master-classes with René Jacobs and David Jones. Camille Poul has been a member of the academy at the prestigious festival d’Aix-en Provence. She currently studies with Annick Massis and Agnes de Brunhoff.
She graduated from the Conservatoire Supérieur de Paris in 2009, having previously graduated with a degree in baroque singing from the Conservatoire National de Paris in 2005. She started singing on stage as a child both as a soloist in the Choir of Seine Maritime and in productions at the Opera of Rouen (Die Zauberflote, Carmen, La Bohème, Tosca).
Much in demand as a concert performer as well, Camille has performed in prestigious halls including the Vienna Konzerthaus and Musikverein, Monaco’s Auditorium, Liederhalle Stuttgart, Philarmonie in Paris, Vredenburg in Utrecht, Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw, Bruges’s Concertgebouw and Quartz in Brest, as a soloist in Haendel’s {Messiah}, Bach’s {Saint John Passion} and {Saint Matthew Passion}, Pergolesi’s {Stabat Mater}, Haydn’s {Missa brevis Sancti Joannis de Deo}, {Leçons de Rénèbres} by François Couperin, L’Innocenza from Marrazzoli’s sacred opera {La Vita Humana} and the title role in {Caldara Maddalena ai piedi di Cristo}.
She also appeared with many renowned ensembles such as Les Talens Lyriques, Le Concert d’Astrée, Academia Montis Regalis, Le Poème Harmonique, Les Lunaisiens, Les Ambassadeurs, Akademie für alte Musik, l’Ensemble Contraste…
She has been invited to sing at many international festivals such as Ambronnay, Berkeley, Granada, Leipzig, Campo de Jordao (Brazil), La folle Journée in Nantes and Lisbon,La Roque d’Anthéron, the festivals of Gent and Spa, festival of Palermo, the French festival in Riga and the Mysteriae Pascalae Krakow festival.
Her discography includes the title role of l’Enfant et les sortilèges, with SWR Stuttgart, Amore and Damigella (L’incornorazzione di Poppea, Monteverdi-DVD virgin classics), Amour and Palès (Cadmus et Hermione}, Lully-DVD Alpha, Urgande in Amadis Lully’s opera and the second grace in the Belli’s {Orfeo} (label Alpha). She recorded also some arias from Michel de la Barre, with the Mercure Galant (cd « La Julie » label agogique).
Her performances have been seen and broadcast notably on France Musique, Mezzo, Arte and medici.tv.
Camille also regularly performs as a recitalist, with the pianist Jean Paul Pruna and the harpsichordist and pianofortist Maude Gratton.
In 2017/2018, Camille Poul will sing Papagena in the Lescot/Rousset production In Caen and Limoges, Maddalena in La Resurezzione of Haendel in Ambronnay, and around many others concerts, like the solo soprano in Mozart Coronation mass at Montpelllier opera, she will make her debut in Amour and Céphyse in Pygmalion’s Rameau with Akamus in Berlin and Wien Musikverein, she will also make her debut in Le Théâtre des Champs Elysées in Paris, singing Yniold in Pelleas et Mélisande with Sabine Devieilhe.
